Abstract
- Foreigners evacuated from Rwanda: according to the Quai d'Orsay, there are practically no more French people in Kigali. For now the paratroopers are still patrolling the city center. After regrouping, they escorted the convoys to the airport. Soldiers who are instructed not to intervene in the fighting that continues in Kigali. They could also, these paratroopers, leave the city quickly enough.
- Last night the first refugees arrived in Paris. Much concern until the arrival of the French soldiers.
- Children and women in large majority. The first French nationals evacuated from Rwanda are tired but relieved, their long journey is over. Reunion time: those returning from Kigali are in good health.
- In the Air Afrique Airbus A-310 coming from Bangui, via N'Djamena, families of military aid workers who remained on the ground to participate in the evacuations, but also women trapped in the Rwandan capital when they were preparing to adopt orphans.
