Abstract
Augustin Ndindiliyimana reportedly met with General Huchon in Paris in March 1994. Huchon asked him: "As a soldier, if you're blocked at the front, the rear, and the sides, what's left for you to do?". He replied: "You have to blow yourself up". Ndindiliyimana wrote that he understood then that France no longer had the same relationship with Habyarimana as before.
