Abstract
A press release from the Commission responsible for shedding light on France's role in Rwanda during the 1994 genocide announces the withdrawal of Ms. Julie d'Andurain, blamed for errors, omissions and bias in the notice on the 'Operation Turquoise that she had written for the Dictionary of French Army External Operations - From 1963 to the present day. This withdrawal is dated August 25, 2020, well before the controversy begins with the article Commission impossible on Rwanda published by Le Canard enchaîné on October 28, 2020.
