Abstract
The Catholic Church, wanting to keep its grip on Rwanda, spread racial hatred and, when it turned into massacres, it did nothing to stop them and defended its perpetrators. France has used this anti-Tutsi racism to extend its domination over Rwanda. To stay there, she supported the killers until the end, knowing as early as 1990 that their goal was to eliminate the Tutsi. She used her seat on the Security Council to enable the completion of this genocide. It turned the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide into a scrap of paper. But the presence of a genocidal government at the Security Council table also sets a scandalous precedent for the United Nations. François Mitterrand, claiming on June 22, 1994 in front of his ministers, including a survivor of Auschwitz, that "if this country were to come under Tutsi domination [...] it is certain that the democratization process would be interrupted", reached there the height of perversion. He, who consulted no one other than his military to engage us in this racial war, wanted to believe that the defense of democracy in another country required support for the perpetrators of genocide. His Machiavellianism has claimed more than a million lives.
