Abstract
In the current state of the report of the experts committed by judges Poux and Trévidic, there is no direct proof that the missile used was a SAM 16. A Mistral missile could have been used and produced similar effects. The reasons why this missile was discarded are not valid. This missile was available at that time. Taking into account of this type of missile does not seem likely to change the conclusions of the experts as to the place of departure of the firing.
