The accusation of deicides is brought against the Jews during the Office of Darkness on Good Friday in the Missal of Dom Gaspard Lefebvre printed in 1948 with a Nihil obstat of 1939. We note that, in this commentary on the Psalms of Saint-Augustin, the word deicide does not appear in the Latin text. The word "deicide" does not exist in classical Latin. In 1939, the Catholic Church judged that there was a good anti-Semitism, its own, which we were asked to distinguish from racial anti-Semitism. In the 1954 editions of this missal, this word deicide disappears.
