Les massacres de ces derniers mois ont fait plus de 500 000 victimes. Le choléra, lui, est en passe en quelques semaines d'atteindre cet abominable record.
Abstract
- In Goma, in 24 hours, cholera has already killed at least 800 people. Humanitarian organizations are overwhelmed: the aid that arrives barely covers 20% of the food needs and only 5% of the water needs.
- What is happening today in Goma is the result of the genocide of the Rwandan people. The massacres of recent months have claimed more than 500,000 lives. Cholera is on the way, in a few weeks, to reach this abominable record.
- Humanitarian organizations are reduced to forming groups of refugees to clear the bodies. This morning, the French soldiers in Goma turned into large-scale gravediggers. And the standing refugees continue to walk to fetch water. Water that kills them almost as surely as the massacres they escaped.
- The Fondation de France has opened an emergency account.
