Abstract
- This is a first since the beginning of the civil war in Rwanda: the representatives of the Rwandan army and those of the Patriotic Front find themselves around a negotiating table, under the aegis of the UN.
- The belligerents have agreed to an agreement in principle for a ceasefire. They will meet tomorrow [May 31] to discuss it again.
