Le FPR a fait savoir qu'il accordait un délai de 60 heures aux troupes françaises et belges pour quitter le Rwanda.

- Extremely violent fighting this morning again in Kigali, where the rebels entered the city. The perfectly organized RPF succeeded in almost completely encircling the city and taking up a position in a few outlying districts.
- His command has let it be known that he is giving French and Belgian troops 60 hours to leave Rwanda, failing which he will no longer spare the airport where the last foreign civilians who are fleeing the country are still gathered. Their evacuation should be completed this evening.
