Abstract
- The President of Rwanda, Juvénal Habyarimana, and the President of Burundi, Cyprien Ntaryamira, were killed last night [April 6].
- The plane carrying them was shot down by rockets when it landed in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda.
- The two Presidents were victims of the ethnic unrest that agitates Rwanda. And the situation is now critical in Kigali: three Belgian UN observers have been killed. Paris and Brussels are on alert.
